Free Homeschool Student IDs Card

AlphaCard believes that every student should have a real student ID card, but homeschooled students don’t usually have access to them. We've decided to do something about it by offering homeschooled students FREE professionally printed photo ID cards through the end of September.

There won't be any shipping fees or attempts to sell you anything. As part of our AlphaCard Cares initiative, this is truly a free program with no strings attached that reflects our commitment to giving back to communities in need.

AlphaCard is printing & shipping professional Homeschool Student ID Cards at no cost through September 30, 2013.
There is a limit of 5 ID cards per household.  We reserve the right to end the program earlier than scheduled based on capacity.
Any submissions deemed fraudulent or inappropriate will not be fulfilled. We will not be responsible for any errors, misprints, or cards lost in the mail. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. This program is restricted to the U.S. only. See below for more details.

AlphaCard is the leading provider of ID card printers & systems. We sell the equipment and software to businesses and organizations that need to print professional photo ID cards for their employees or members. Although we don’t normally print ID cards, we are excited to make an exception for this special program.

AlphaCard Cares is a charitable branch of AlphaCard that provides in-kind donations to deserving non-profits. Occasionally we find other creative ways to give back, like this homeschool ID card program. There are many reasons why photo IDs are important, but here are a few:

Student IDs are usually the only form of photo identification until a Driver’s Permit/License is obtained.Many businesses offer discount to students and require a student ID as proof. See this article on common student ID discounts.Because it's fun for students to have their own photo ID!

Yes, we promise! We will print out the card, and ship it to you at no cost. No shipping, handling, taxes or other hidden fees.

We will print the ID cards on professional grade PVC cards; the same type used by schools & universities across the country. The printing process uses a special technology called dye-sublimation to fuse the color onto the PVC Card.

At this time, the program is limited to Homeschool Student IDs. Home educators, teachers & parents are not eligible to receive an ID card through this program.

The program is reserved for grades K-12 only.

If you made a mistake, you may re-submit the request for an ID card with revised information. We will do our best to send you a card using the last request for each student.

Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.

We are limiting the program to five cards per household (and/or IP address). If you are part of a homeschool co-op or group, please ask the parents of each student to submit separate requests for their own students.

The information submitted will only be used to fulfill requests for ID cards. We will not share, sell or rent any student or parent information collected as part of this program.

The free homeschool IDs is limited to residents of the 50 United States & the District of Columbia.

The ID numbers are sequentially generated, and are not customizable.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any special requests. AlphaCard is not a custom card printer, but rather sells equipment to organizations that need to print photo ID cards. Although we don’t normally print ID cards, we are excited to make an exception for this special program, but need to limit the ID Cards to the preset templates.

The Homeschool ID program was designed to be used on a desktop computer. Access from your smart phone may not be supported.
